Please have your photo identification, current insurance information, and a comprehensive list of all medications and supplements ready for check-in.
To help the time pass more comfortably, we encourage you to bring items for entertainment—such as a tablet, book, or headphones—along with a light layer or blanket to stay warm during the procedure.
Food, drink, and clothing
Staying hydrated and well-nourished is the best way to ensure a smooth session. Your care team willa recommend drinking plenty of water in the 48 hours before your visit and eating a calcium-rich meal on the morning of your appointment.
Since you will be resting in a reclining chair, wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing with sleeves that can be easily rolled up to the shoulder. It is also common to feel a bit cooler during the process, so feel free to bring a warm sweater or your favorite blanket.
Medication questions to ask before the visit
